Hello,

My name is Mamadou Diallo. I am the Founder of the Engineering Career Pathways Institute and am reaching to introduce myself, share a little bit about ECPI, and ask for your feedback in terms of how we can help you succeed in your goals.

Just a little bit about myself - I studied Mechanical Engineering in University and am currently working as a Technical Project Manager in Material Handling Equipment Automation and Integration. During my studies in university, I often wondered about the real world applications of the principles taught in class but struggled to find any useful info. After I graduated and started working, I also learned a lot of information that would have been very useful while in college and impacted how I did a lot of things, but it was too late. I also realized that there was a huge gap between the skills sought after in industry and the fundamentals taught in school. All of these realizations and exposure led me to start the Engineers Hub Podcast and eventually ECPI, with the goal of providing valuable exposure, insight, and resources to students pursuing a career in engineering or intending to do so.

About ECPI - ECPI has three core missions:

1. Bridging the gap between the standard engineering curriculum and skills that are sought after in industries.

2. Providing Career Pathways and Industry exposure to students majoring in engineering or considering doing so.

3. Contributing to the diversity of the Engineering Workforce by increasing the number of minority students who successfully transition into a career in Engineering.

ECPI will be working to achieve these goals through various ways. However, we won't be able to do it without the feedback of those who are interested in our work - this includes you and all the students we serve.

My intention is to use this as an introduction and to also ask for your feedback. How did you hear about our work? What can we do to help you with your goals? What are your goals? And anything else that you wish to share.
